MIL-SPEC AIRCRAFT CABLE | MIL-C-27500

The MIL-27500 covers the requirement for aerospace electrical use and other applications for which its performance characteristics are suitable. The cable constructions are defined by using a combination of letters and digits to describe the cable build-up.

Types
Unjacketed:  2 to 7 color coded wires, spirally laid without an overall outer jacket.
Jacketed:  2 to 7 color coded wires, spirally laid with an overall outer jacket.
Shielded:  A single wire or 2 to 7 color coded wires spirally laid, with an overall jacket.
Shielded & Jacketed:  A single wire or 2 to 7 color coded wires spirally laid, with overall shield(s) and jacket.
