     ♦ Soft annealed tinned copper conductor, solid or stranded
     Irradiated Cross-linked Polyethylene Insulation

UL 3271, MIL-W-16878F/16 Wire Characteristics:

     ♦ Temperature Rating:  -55°C to +125°C
     ♦ Voltage Rating: 600 volts
     ♦ UL Recognized / CSA Certified / MIL-Spec Recognized
     ♦ VW-1 Flame retardant rating
     ♦ Color Code: Standard 10 colors. This product can be striped, twisted or cut 
                            and stripped upon request.

UL 3271, MIL-W-16878F/16 Wire Applications: 

   UL 3271 hook up wire’s XLPE insulation has excellent abrasion resistance and
   exhibits no-shrink-back even when in direct contact with a soldering iron. UL 3271
   is highly resistant to chemicals and solvents, especially potting systems, which makes
   it ideal for transformer applications. These highly flexible wires conform readily to
 
   desired shapes for lead wire and interconnection applications. UL 3271 may be used 
   in computers, industrial controls, military equipment, motor leads and transformers.
