QQ-B-575,ASTM B-33 TInned Copper Flat Braid Description:

     ♦ Woven tinned copper braid rolled flat to specific width. 
     ♦ Each strand meets requirements of Federal Specifications QQ-B-575, 
        ASTM-B-33 and AA59569.

QQ-B-575,ASTM B-33 TInned Copper Flat Braid Applications:

    The tight weave of tinned copper may be used as a shielding material for short-run cables
    providing easy radical termination. In retrofit applications, tinned copper flat braid provides 
    additional shielding efficiency. When used as ground strap, this flat braid provides an  
    excellent, low-resistance ground path.

*Values shown are for bare cable in free air at 30°C (86°F) and are intended as a reference guide only. Actual values will depend on permissible temperature rise, permissible voltage drop and other conditions of service.
