    ♦ Stranded or solid, silver plated copper conductor
     
   UL 1198, UL 1199 Wire Characteristics:
    ♦ Temperature Rating:  UL 1198: 150°C (302°F), UL 1199: 200°C (392°F)  
♦ Temperature Identification: 1198: Brown longitudinal stripe or surface
   printing (18 gauge and larger). UL 1199: Black longitudinal stripe or surface
   printing (18 gauge or larger). No identification required for 20 gauge or
   smaller.
♦ Voltage Rating: 600 volts (UL allows 2,500 volts peak for electronic use
   only.)
♦ UL Recognized
♦ Available in 10 standard colors. This product can be striped, twisted or cut
  and stripped upon request.
♦ Product Identification: Surface printed 
     
   UL 1198, UL 1199 Wire Applications:
    UL 1198, UL 1199 hook up wires have heavy wall extruded PTFE insulation for higher voltage ratings. These wires are ideal for general appliance wiring and applications where temperature extremes, chemical exposure and dielectric stresses are possible.
