MIL-W-5086/1 is a general purpose PVC/nylon wiring material which may be used in electrical or electronic applications. The nylon jacket provides a very tough, abrasion resistant wire. MIL-W-5086/1 offers excellent resistance to moisture, fuels, hydraulic fluids and other common industrial solvents. MIL-W-5086/1 should be considered for use in any application where it may be exposed to abrasion, high impact loads or other mechanical damage or chemical abuse.
