2023 Employee Appreciation Day
|
Hung Le, Employee of the Year |
In June, Interstate Wire celebrated its hardworking employees with an evening of food and fun. A special barbeque dinner was prepared by Smokin' Andy's BBQ, and a Kona Shaved Ice truck was on the premises for employees to enjoy at their leisure. Employees played cornhole after dinner and competed for prizes playing some games set up by staff. Raffle tickets were also provided to all employees, and a plethora of prizes were up for grabs. Further, a local band called The Kevin Lovett Band was live in the warehouse and kept toes tapping with many classic rock and country favorites.
Interstate employees were asked to vote for Employee of the Year for 2023, and our warehouse manager Hung Le won the most votes and was awarded a special gift and a round of hearty applause from his colleagues. Le has been with Interstate Wire for nearly 40 years and continues to do amazing work. His efforts and contributions have been unparalleled, and it's apparent his coworkers have noticed. If there is one thing Interstate employees can all agree on, it’s that Le is our MVP and secret weapon in keeping our staff happy and customers wired. Here’s to another year of great work!
“…all have done a tremendous job in working together to achieve the optimum results... I know this has taken several iterations of improvement, as well as our drive to always be better than we were yesterday. This attitude, motivation and shared purpose is what makes us successful. I am proud of our team and the commitment made to each other.”
—Brian Parsons, CEO, Interstate Wire
