Woven tinned copper braid rolled flat to specific width. Each strand meets requirements of Federal Specifications QQ-B-575, ASTM-B-33 and AA59569. The tight weave of tinned copper may be used as a shielding material for short-run cables providing easy radical termination. In retrofit applications, tinned copper flat braid provides additional shielding efficiency. When used as ground strap, this flat braid provides an excellent, low-resistance ground path.
